![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The announcement begins in the standard retro 1950s aplomb that the Fallout series is known for, as the anchor is cut off during a report on Vault-Tec. Once again the Ink Spots serenade us from the very beginning with “It’s All Over But The Crying.” As the camera drifts through a long abandoned house, we catch snippets of what were the last moments of the ‘pre-war’ world. Let me assure you, there’s much more happening in the Fallout trailer than what’s apparent at first blush. I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I watch the trailer for the next installment of a beloved franchise I watch it over and over and over - sucking in all the details that the people who are actually paid to watch these things might miss (we still love you, Tyler). So the long awaited Fallout 4 teaser just came out, and the likes of Kotaku and PC Gamer have already produced their supposed ‘breakdowns.’ But if you care to actually read them, you’ll notice they say very little about what’s happening that our eyes aren’t already telling us. ![]()
